I'M (E) the conversation...with this peice...

5-1 day= One day closer to Friday! I sit @ work and dream about my dreams...But I digress. One of my Best Friends is making her dreams come to true! Such an inspiration...For Christmas she surprised me with this Conversational piece designed and sewn by her!! I set out to find a thrifted grey blazer, but I couldn't find one...I saw one on Wet Seal and when they had 50% off all plus items, I scooped it! BTW, anybody know what's up with them???? Check out the piece below...

 If you haven't noticed MY LIPS ARE BLUE!!! *Jumps for joy* I've been thinking about finding me some blue lipstick. I may be late but I was playing in makeup and decided to put blue eyeshadow on my lips. I was soooo excited when it actually stayed!!! I added clear lip gloss and BOOM!!! Look out nah! lol

THRIFTY THURSDAY: OOTD: 1/26/2012 Nip Tuck...

MORNING!!! This post BARELY made it! I was going to just skip Thrifty Thursday this week, but I really didn't want too! I'm so proud of my first hem...Crooked and all! LOL But I'm wearing it like it's perfect! The imperfect perfection!!

So I got this dress on my thrifting adventure with Tamika a few weeks ago. I love the print and the style... you know vintage! Ain't no stopping me now that I have my sewing machine!!! The tag says size 28 but now it fits me! This dress has been NIP TUCKED! <---Another new phrase!! lol



So you know she gave me the STANK FACE again! This time I was able to CAPTURE the moment!Then she said "A Moo-Moo?!?!?!" I was cracking up in this picture!! Can you tell?

Thrifty Thursday OOTD: Purple Passion *Casual Day*

Happy Happy Day before Friday!! I live for the weekends but who doesn't (unless you have to work). My weekend plans include me playing with the sewing machine I got for Christmas! It's bout to go DOWN in a MAJOR way! Getting these things ready for my online boutique opening soon! <---Speaking it! =) 

I picked up this plain jane purple top because it was purple, the material felt good and it was less than $2!! I can dress it down or up! I paired it with my new fav jeans and some blue accessories from F21. It's funny how the simplest/cheapest items can make you feel/look like a million bucks! I was really feeling myself... *shrug* Enjoy!

Thrifty Thursday OOTD: 12/8/2011 The Simple Dress...

Happy Thursday!!! I'm always ready for the weekend!! I was browsing through GoodWill and I saw this dress! Five dollar buy and it was plain but, my mind flooded with ideas! Plus, my gut told me that it would fit cute due to the material and... I think I was right! Tune in for my next post and I'll tell you a secret about it... hehehe! 

I was a bit indecisive so I paired the dress with 3 different jackets... Can you guess which one I chose???? =D Check it out and let me know what you think!
