I looked like Bae... The CoCo and Chanel

Happy Thursday Folks!

Do you guys scroll past the give-away announcements on social media like I do? I be feeling like it's a 100 entries already so what are the odds that I'd win anyway. Well, I tried something different last month when Fashion Stylist D. Ni'Cole was feeling generous. She was giving away a  black and white 'The  COCO and Chanel" sweatshirt... and I'll be dog-onnnn', I won!  ( Mood: If this is any indication as to how 2019 will go, I'm with it!)

I've had the pleasure of being inspired by this GEM (D. Ni'Cole) for more than a few years now! We're both "Southern Girls" so I feel like we connect on a different level! She's launched a branded Sweatshirt and Tee-Shirt line SBDNC , that features some mind reading, classy but sassy, catch phrases that will have EVERYBODY stopping to see what your shirt says! Trust Me I Know! LOL

The Sweatshirt is Uni-Sex in size and runs big. I was in between wearing it as a shirt dress or a crop top. It wasn't as flattering as a shirt dress so the crop top option won.
Keeping it crisp, I paired it with a black and white pinstripe shirt dress I've had for a while from Rainbow Shops and some white booties from Shoe Show
You can find the Sweatshirt (Here),  Booties (Here),  and a similar Shirt Dress (Here)

You should know by now, a pop of color is my trademark. Pink tassel earrings completed my look. Side note: I probably need to lay off the tassel earrings 😓 No promises tho!

I wore this in Atlanta a few weeks ago and it was definitely what I call a conversational piece. I looked like BAE! Thank you D. Ni'Cole !!!

Hope you guys enjoyed! Have a great weekend!

Spring 1st: Seize the season

Happy First Day of Spring!

The pollen, the bees, and the wasps are out, but so is the Sun! Flowers are blooming, trees are coming alive, and bright colors are returning to our wardrobe! YASSSSS!

I'm working for Joann Arts and crafts part-time and I'm surrounded by a whole lot fabric, and it's torture! Lol Any who, I bought the fabric for this skirt with spring in mind and it did not disappoint.

The high waist pleated skirts are very flattering, so I made me one. Paired it with a thrifted blue jean top and I'm feeling so ready for the season! Happy Spring People!

No Limit (s) : A week of THIS Army Fatigue Trench Coat...

I had a dream... yes, a dream about this coat. Woke up, googled it, and I saw nothing. The way my Creativity is set up these days, if I can't buy it, (which I couldn't) I'll make it! So I went to the thrift store, bought three jackets, and put them all together.

The next question I had was, what would I wear this coat with? Answer: Hell, Army Fatigue IS the new black. So let's just say Everything! LOL I plan to dress this up, dress it down, I'm wearing this mug to the gym, and the laundry mat! HAHAHAHA

Since the University of Alabama won the National Championship last night. I had to add the houndstooth. Today we're mixing prints.

Thrifty Thursday: 2.5.15

Man I'm on Cloud nine... Two posts in one week! HAHA! So I visited with my older sister this weekend and she took the time point out that I haven't been consistent with my Thrifty Thursday posts. So this one is for you 'Laine!

I went to a new thrift spot yesterday. Went in on a whim and I LIVED!! Had to cut back on my thrifting lately due to #BUDGETCUTS LMBO and plus since thrifting is the newest craze, the prices are going up! *rolls eyes* I saw this Jacket and said hmmmm... It's textured, it's reversible, it's colored, it's oversized, it's PERFECT!

Went with the black side and rolled the blue side up...

CALL GYRL...BOOTS OOTD: RE-VISITED

Good Sunday Afternoon Folks! It was such a beautiful non-wintry day yesterday, you know the type of day that makes you wanna get REALLY Cute for no reason...and that's what I did! I actually wore this for a night out during Thanksgiving break but Didn't get the right photos to post. I got this Tribal print dress from Fashion to Figure a few months back. I paired the dress with tights and this Red blazer (staple closet piece) and the fit was a hit... I felt like an extra on the movie "Pretty Woman" with the boots on... =)

To be honest this post is really all about the thigh high boots! Got these from Torrid!

Boots are comfortable but better for the REALLY cold days, I was hot as H3LL!! lol

Anything other than RED LIPS would be unacceptable! lol

                                               BEHIND THE SCENES... Close up

So...I'm adding these boots to the "I feel SEXY" section in my closet... Can't wait to wear these babies again. Have a great Sunday!! Cheers to a productive work week!

What are some staple pieces in your closet?

Keep Dreamin,

E. Louise
