Thrifty Thursday OOTD 12/29/2011: Skirted...

Hello!!! I hope you all are having an awesome short work week!! I love the holiday season and all the days off that it brings!! HA! I've been dragging due to the lack of sleep these past couple of days but "sleep in Saturday" is right around the corner!

I found this skirt on my thrifting venture last week and the print alone melted me! My goodness it was eye catching! I can't believe people are giving this stuff away! Below are a few different ways I came up with wearing the skirt. Really similar to my post Look What I Found. I also found a pair of leg warmers I've never worn even though I've had them for about 5 years are so... Are they still back in style? If not who cares I'm wearing mine!                     You could also substitute the blazer for a cardigan/sweater and this one is my new FAV!

Thrifty Thursday OOTD: Pokah Dots...

SO...I literally just got into the Christmas spirit and finished my shopping in a week!! HA! I'm usually on it but the past couple of years have been a period of adjustment. My family is missing one and honestly, I'm just not there yet! Time heals and so does GOD! Any who, you know I went to Memphis last weekend and when I tell you I racked up!!! Babbbbbbyyyy!!! This weeks Thrifty Thursday feature is the Polka Dot button down shirt! Ain't it CUTE?!?!? LOL I feel like red and blue play off one another as it did in my previous post  Bold and Beautiful   . Flower-REE Winter OOTD: 12/15/2011

Who said Flowers didn't bloom in the winter time! Well I'm not a horticulture specialist so they probably don't BUT... this sweater made me feel better! LOL Of course it's a thrift find...I paired it with these acid wash jeans I found in Citi Trends for $8!!! But the real showstopper was the shoes...ordered from Torrid and I was able to walk in them all day! Got a few compliments too! Check it out and let me know what you think...

Fly Cat in the HAT!! Down Day...

Happy Sunday Folks! While you are reading this I'm probably on the road! YARN, I really hate driving if it's over 2 hours... LAZY probably but whatever! Thrifty Thursday OOTN: YeezyTaughtMe Red and Black Combo

Happy Thursday!!! I have a confession!! I'm actually not wearing this look today! (I took the day off HA). But it's still not cheating because I'm presenting something that was purchased from the thrift store. When I go thrifting, I look at things that is either modern or can be modernized...(vintage appeal). When I saw this sweater, I had to have it! I think it falls in the "modern" category.

My look below is Kanye West inspired! We all know that red and black makes an awesome combo but when you add prints to it, I think the it soars to another level. I resisted the urge to put on ALL the gold BBoy chains I have in my closet!!!! LOL Check it out and let me know what you think!

Size Doesn't Matter... Not when the fabric stretches

So... I told y'all I had a secret and here goes! Size doesn't matter when the fabric stretches! The dresses below are Medium and Larges!!! By no means am I advocating buying your clothes too small! All I'm saying is, if the fabric stretches enough and the fit is flattering for your body type... GO FOR IT!! The dress from last weeks thrifty Thursday is a MEDIUM! My sister is a Medium and on her I swear it looked like a night gown! I have other examples below as well, and I included my potential OOTN for this weekend! I know I'm not the only one who plans ahead! =) As always check it out and let me know what you think!  Not sure why I never posted about this dress! It  has  Sequin shoulders! Maybe because I sold it...

For the first time, I'm posting an outfit that I haven't worn yet. I'm headed to Memphis this weekend and more than likely this dress will be the OOTN...
