Size Doesn't Matter... Not when the fabric stretches

So... I told y'all I had a secret and here goes! Size doesn't matter when the fabric stretches! The dresses below are Medium and Larges!!! By no means am I advocating buying your clothes too small! All I'm saying is, if the fabric stretches enough and the fit is flattering for your body type... GO FOR IT!! The dress from last weeks thrifty Thursday is a MEDIUM! My sister is a Medium and on her I swear it looked like a night gown! I have other examples below as well, and I included my potential OOTN for this weekend! I know I'm not the only one who plans ahead! =) As always check it out and let me know what you think! Continue to have a blessed week!

Not sure why I never posted about this dress! It  has  Sequin shoulders! Maybe because I sold it...

For the first time, I'm posting an outfit that I haven't worn yet. I'm headed to Memphis this weekend and more than likely this dress will be the OOTN...
Oh yeah these earrings gave me life!!! They are a lil heavy though!
2nd look... I need some new tights so they're not pictured... Added this thrifted jacket from the post  Reign Down On ME

Dress and Jacket- Thrifted
Shoes- Torrid
Earrings- Local Boutique

I absolutely love the neck line on the dress! So vintage... SO ME! =0)

Not the most flattering face, but I'm feeling this pose...

Thank you all for all the positive feedback! I love the fact that we can showcase our style on such a public platform, to others who appreciate it! Blogging is a PT job! We are role models, and I will continue to Style outside the box! =) Join me....(wink)

Are there any smaller sizes in your closet?

Keep Dreamin,

E. Louise

You look great in all of the dresses!! Those colors are also FAB on you!! Love this post!

Gurl, I'm wearing a size 16 dress today, and I am an 18 in every sense of the word! Like you said, I didn't buy a dress that was too small for me... the number just read something that I usually don't go for. The dress has stretch and it hugs my curves, it doesn't squeeze them.

You look beautiful in all of these dresses!

I completely agree with the sizing. Especially in dresses! I have bought stuff "2 sizes too small" only to have them fit like a glove!

Yes I do b/c I am smaller on the top and bottom heavy I can wear anywhere from a large to a 1x on top and the smallest bottoms I have are a size 12. I am currently in the gym now trying to get back down to a true size 12-14 b/c that's the size I feel most comfortable.

I see you girl! You are working every last one of them dresses. You are right...if it works then go for it. I would have never though to try on a medium or even a large but then again I do know dresses are funny like that.

Looking good!!
